Very professional and efficient. Jake was the electrician who handled my job. He quickly identified several problems and made a suggestion to change the ceiling lights in the dining room and kitchen (I loved the new look). This job grew into something bigger than I anticipated, and then 2 more electricians were put on the job. Their goal was to complete this before the end of the day. Jake lead the team and he did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him.

I needed an outside outlet for our new motorhome. I called and Hometown came the next morning and installed one at a very affordable rate. Excellent service.

Hometown Electric provided amazing service, they were knowledgeable and helpful starting with the first phone call. I got an appointment quickly, and fixed my outlet issue properly the first time. I probably could have gotten it done cheaper, but swift, professional service is worth it!

Our technician, David was extremely professional and communicative. He made appropriate recommendations to resolve our electrical issue and did a great job. Very impressed, again, with Hometown Electric.

This is the second time I have used Hometown Electric (formerly Light ' Em Up). One might think the prices are slightly high but it includes the professional customer service as well as the parts and service warranties.

First time using their services was after taking 4 companies cost estimates to replace all my indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures and ceiling fans---now Hometown Electric--got the job done with friendliness and a professional demeanor.

The second time using them was just yesterday, 5/10/2019--an emergency call. A neighbor's tree came down taking out power lines as well as taking my electric meter box off my house. I called Hometown Electric around 7am and J.C. was on site by 8:30 am. After inspecting and advising of cost my power was back on by 12:30. The crew for doing the work was in place in less than 45 minutes. I learned that Hometown Electric has a good working relationship with my City's power company---I call this real T.E.A.M. work.
Getting the customer needs completed with ease. Their answering the "why" questions without hesitation, giving options and helping to bring your electrical needs up to current code--is worth it.

Based on my experiences and end results with Hometown Electric, they get 5 stars from me.

I still have one more electrical project to get done, and I know Hometown Electric will get it done.

Hometown Electric came to our home and installed new lighting and receptacles for our basement finish. Courteous and very professional installers from start to finish. Highly recommend if you have any electrical projects in or around you home.

David arrived on time, was very polite and knowledgeable. He completed the work requested and did some additional work. We will definitely use Hometown Electric in the future.

A very young gentleman, still a teenager, came to my house to replace and dead electric socket in my garage. He was so sweet I wanted to hug him. Very respectful and thorough. I also roped him into fixing the ceiling fan in my office and he did a fantastic job. The cost was very affordable and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future if necessary.
